OPEN LIBRARY TIME
Please encourage your student to utilize the VHS open library every Wednesday and Thursday from 3:00 to 5:00. There will be both VHS teachers and peer tutors available to help with school work. All students are welcome!
Students With Jobs!
If you currently have a job, and are not 18, your work permit will expire on September 1, 2008! You must come to the Work Experience Office and pick up a new application for a new work permit that will allow you to legally work after September 1. Please get this done as soon as possible. Download Work Permit Application.
ROP
ROP has openings in four different classes of the medical field. Consider learning about dental assisting, physical therapy, pharmacy or working in a medical office. These are great classes to take and discover if this could be the career for you! You will learn basic knowledge of these fields and in some cases be ready for an entry level position.
There are other classes also available. Please stop by the ROP Office in the Counseling Office the first week of school to inquire.
