Career Path Candidates should be able to-
-Demonstrate Intinisic Knowlege of the elements of art and the principles of design
-Demonstrate understanding of the rules of composition in art and use them effectively
-Demonstrate ability to use many art materials correctly and creatively
-Demonstrate adequat knowledge of art history
-Demonstrate adequate knowlege of the arts of many cultures
-Demonstrate basic knowlege of art careers and how art is used in various professions
-Demonstrate critical thinking ability in the assesment of the artwork of others

Take two sets of sequential art courses (ex: Art 1A/B, Photo 1A/B) and two other courses, sequential or not.
Independent study courses are allowed with career path advisor and counselor approval

Career Exploration Project in Art is mandatory to qualify for certification

*INTERNSHIP (76.5 hours) is available and equal to one class.
